1 McClean Erected in loving memory of William S. McClean Cloghogue who died 24th Oct. 1911 aged 92 years and his beloved wife Elizabeth who died 1st Jan. 1892 aged 71 fears; also of their children Anna 17th July 1897, George 26 Sp. 1907, Elizabeth 1st Mat.. 1908, Norman 14th Sep. 1913, Sarah 9th May 1917.
2 Aughmuty
(m2 in ' Inscriptions in Creggan Graveyard"*)

This headstone is a memorial to Rev. James Wilson Aughmuty, Rector of Creggan and Forkhill Parishes from 1934 to 1944. Rev. James Wilson Aughmuty was ordained in 1896. Before his appointment as Rector of Creggan and Forkhill Parishes, he was Rector of Carlingford Parish. He was appointed Prebendary of Mullabrack Parish in 1943. In "Armagh Clergy and Parishes", in 1911, Rev. J. B. Leslie wrote: ". . . Canon Aughmuty had been for several years the efficient and enthusiastic Sec. of the Board of Missions of the Diocese, ill which work he was ably secoiided by Mrs. Aughmuty . . .". He died on 20th October 1944, aged 76, and is buried here.

3 Mills In loving memory of the Revd. Lewis G. Mills LLD who died 28th May 1885 aged 62 years; "Thy will be done". (m1 in "Inscriptions in Creggan Graveyard')

This headstone is a memorial to Rev. Lewis George Mills, Rector of Creggan Parish from 1873 to 1885. Rev. Lewis George Mills was born in Co. Longford in 1823. During the period 1850 to 1873, while Headmaster of Armagh Cathedral School, he obtained B.A., LL.B. and LL.D degrees at Trinity College, Dublin. He was Curate of Aghavilly Parish from 1871 to 1873, in which year he was appointed Rector of Creggan. He died on 28th May 1885, aged 62 years, arid was buried here.

4 Atkins In loving memory of Lt. Col. Edward Alan Garvay Atkins the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers died 28th Feb. 1966.
5 Speers Leata Margaret Speers wife of the late William Speers Cullyhanna Born A ugusi 5th 1872 Died May 20th 1969.
6 Burns

McElveen

Burns; In memory of Sarah who died 2nd October 1921 and of her husbands Samuel who died 11th March 1967.

Erected boy Susan McElveen of Courtbane in memory of her beloved grandfather Samuel McElveen who died January 8th 1852 aged 82 years; also her beloved grandmother Letitia McElveen who died June 13th 1855 aged 84 years.


7 Wright In affectionate remembrance of William Wright who died November 26th 1881 aged 78 years.
8 Hearty Here lieth the body of Terce Hearty who departed this transitory life Octobr ye 13th 1755 aged 44 yrs: erected by his son Pattk Hearty AD 1786.

9 Holmes To the memory of John R Holmes DI, R.1.C. Dungloe Co. Donegal. Died July 1864, son of the late Gordon Holmes R. L C.
10 McShane IHS; Erected in memory of Bridget McShane of Coolderry who departed this life January the 15th 1838 aged 20 years.
11 Lowe Lowe; In loving memory of Thomas James Lowe, died 1July 1929 aged 67 years; his wife Anne Jane died 11 March 1933 aged 72 years; their daughter Eliza Jane died 3 Nov 1922 aged 20 years; their. son Robert John died 4 Dec. 1944 aged 51 years; "Father in thy gracious keeping leave we now our loved ones sleeping."
12 McAlister McAlister- In memory of Robert McAlister died 16th Oct. 1936. Also his wife Annie McAlisier. died 27th Feb. 1943. And their children Mary Elizabeth McAlister died 4th May, 1957. William James McAlister died 22nd Aug. 1965.

14 Corr In loving memory, of the Rev. Thomas John Corr MA ex sch T.C.D. who departed this life Dec IV MDCCCLXXXV aged 36 years; "He giveth his beloved sleep" Psalm CXXVII - II.
In dutiful and affectionate remembrance of William Corr for nearly two generations connected with this church and parish. He was acknowledged by all to be a faithful husband, a devoted father, a kindly neighbour and a true Christian. He died on April VI MDCCCLXXXIII aged LXVIII years; this obelisk was erected by his four surviving children.
In loving memory of William Richard Corr MA LLB solicitor who fell asleep Nov 6th 1911 aged 60 years.

In loving memory of John Thomas Simpson who died Feb 3rd 1929 aged 71 years; "Rest in the Lord" Frances Jane Simpson wife of Thomas John Simpson who died November 10th 1933 in her 86th fear. (There are other stones in this plot but they, are covered with cement, gravel etc. Names which are legible are Richard Rowland died November 1824 and Mary Smyth eldest daughter of Thomas Smyth of Silverbiridge d. 19 Sept 1808).

15 McCullagh McCullagh - Jeffers in loving memory of George McCullagh Creggan died 12 Dec. 1980. His wife Margaret Elizabeth died 23 May 1950. Her sister Anna Maria Harvey died 30 Nov1957. His son Herbert William died 31 March 1983.

At North wall Bernard In memory of Arthur Adderley Bernard late Major 84th Regt and for 30 years a Magistrate for this county who departed this life 9th March 1861 aged 76 years. Also Margaret Anna his wife daughter of the late Neil McNeil Esq. of Faughart. She departed this life 30th March 1870 aged 84 years. Beloved and respected by all who knew her.
